Namesake is committed to reducing our impact by making meaningful improvements to our products and operations. Our brand was founded on the belief that modern nursery furniture should be well designed, long-lasting, uses sustainable sourced materials and is safe for the family home. However, we recognized that we need to do more! In 2020 we made sustainability a priority by investing in the use of recycled fabrics, increasing the number of GREENGUARD Gold Certified products, and ensuring shipping from our online sales are carbon conscious.

Every Namesake crib and glider is GREENGUARD Gold Certified to ensure the indoor air your baby and family breathes is cleaner. Products that have achieved GREENGUARD Certification are scientifically proven to meet some of the world’s most rigorous, third-party chemical emissions standards, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure, while aiding in the creation of healthier indoor environments.

Indoor air can be 2-5 times more polluted than outdoor air due to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) such as formaldehyde which is why it’s so important for a child’s development to find products that are certified.
